The Arab Lawyers Union, member of the ICB, condems trought this press release the attacks carried out by the Daesh in Brussels, Belgium on the 22nd of March.

 

The ALU General Secretariat condemns, in the strongest terms the terrorist attacks in the Belgium capital, the headquarters of the European Union, Brussels. Where it targeted civilians at the airport and metro stations at the morning rush time. These attacks left large numbers of deaths and casualties. It was followed by a declaration of a state of maximum alert and the closure of the borders. Other European countries, also, declared strict security measures in anticipation of expected attacks. These criminal operations just follow the announcement of arresting of the mastermind of Paris last year the attacks, Salah Abdel-Salam.

As The ALU expressed its deep sorrow for the fall of those innocent victims by the hand blind terrorism, which has no country or religion however, it renews its permanent call for   unity of world to take serious steps to deal with terrorist groups and the states in charge of their establishing and funding.

 

The ALU, also, stresses on that terrorism is not far from any area it is a cross-border and intercontinental. Targeting European capitals have proved that the claim of that the Arab region is a stronghold of terrorism and terrorist operations are incorrect.

The ALU send its deep condolences to the Belgium people and of the European Union countries and wishing a speedy recovery for the injured. It calls for urgent International action and decisive against terrorism in all its forms and to take effective steps, away from the interests of the ambitions of colonialism, aimed to stop the plague of this era.
